The Light Steel Fabrication Division or OLS (Overhead Line Supplies) as it was previously known, has been in operation since 1990. This division was formed with the strategic acquisition of several companies to enhance the manufacturing capabilities of the company. The Light Steel Fabrication Division manufactures and supplies a wide variety of steel fabricated components which are used in a number of industries such as mining, civil, power, telecommunications and transport. Some of the components supplied include stay rods, bracing straps, suspension hooks, prop adaptors, jack stems, through to crimping pliers and copper crimping sleeves. This is an indication of the varied nature of products we supply and the industries that we support. Our commitment to cost efficient production, service excellence and innovative manufacture has instilled a high level of confidence in our local and export customers.
The Light Steel Fabrication division prides itself in its ability to assist any client, no matter how large or small, on their specific requirements, and comes from the fact that we manufacture in a “JOBBING” environment, where products are manufactured to client requirements. From small single end-users to the major infrastructure projects we have the capacity and know-how to supply the correct material and on time to complete the job at hand.

We have a well-equipped tool room with a competent staff complement that design, manufacture and maintain tools for – Jigs, Fixtures, Press tools, Form tools, Progression tooling. Quality control personnel continuously check and monitor the parts for defects as each pressed part is identified and signed off to go to the next process.
