The Forge Shop, was originally established in 1911. We have over 100 years of forging experience making us FORGING EXPERTS, who have developed the knowledge and expertise, with a skilled team to manufacture and supply quality forged products to our customers.

The Forging Process

HEAVY FORGINGS are made on open hammers ranging from 1 ton to 3 ton piston weight. All forgings are heated in temperature-controlled furnaces.
Material grades of carbon, low & medium alloy steels of BS/EN, AISI/SAE and ASTM/ASME ranges are used as input material. Selected grades of martensitic & austenitic grades of material are kept in stock.
Band saws are used to cut feedstock material to length in preparation for the forge.
