The Press Shop has been in operation since 1948. This division manufactures a wide variety of metal pressed components which are used in a variety of industries such as mining, civil, power, telecommunications and transport. It is one of the largest Metal Pressing and Forming shops in the country.

Our press facilities allow for the forming of light to heavy plate products to produce square, round, octagonal, and many other complex shapes in thickness from 1mm to 16mm thick.
Industrial Fasteners
We manufacture smaller components for fasteners such as: Threaded Rod, Thimbles, Bonding Clips, as well as Round, Square, and Curved washers used in the industrial fastener industry.
Mining, construction, electrification, and telecommunication
Various combinations of Bearing Plates such as Domed, Ribbed, Dog Ear washers.
Pole line hardware for telephone and power grid installations.
Small fittings for scaffolding and shuttering sections, fence post caps, exhaust pipe flanges, blades for grass cutting equipment.
Production Facilities
Guillotining facilities enable us to guillotine from thin gauge material up to 12 mm thick material.
The production process is carried out on eccentric presses fitted with de-coilers and feeders that are set up to run automatically. Our eccentric presses range from 20 to 400 tonne capacity, capable of handling pressings from 1mm to 16mm steel plate.
Quality & Accuracy
We have a well-equipped tool room that manufactures tools for metal pressings – blanking, forming & progressive tools. The tool room also designs, develops, maintains and builds new tooling to customer specifications either from drawings or samples.
Quality control personnel continuously check and monitor the parts for defects as each pressed part is identified and signed off to go to the next process.
